A boutique, micro winery specializing in the production of very small lots of luxury wines - Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignons, West side Paso Robles Rhone blends and Pinot Noirs from the  Santa Lucia Highlands .  Our focus is on handcrafting wines of intense character and expression. With a total annual production of around 3,500 cases, the Chateau Margene & Mooney Family wines focus on sustainable viticultural practices and minimalist winemaking techniques that offer maximum varietal expression.  Our flagship wine, the Chateau Margene Beau Melange, is the only wine where we source 100% of the fruit from our estate vineyard in Creston.  We believe the terrior from our estate vineyard, along with our stringent winemaking practices, allows us to produce a truly exceptional Bordeaux style blend.    

Our Cabernet Sauvignons are sold out.  The new 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon will release on April 1, 2012.
