SUMMER UPDATE - July 15th. 

Greetings!

From mild temperatures to over 100 degrees in just a few days.  We expect to see 110 degrees in parts of Paso Robles this week.  This is the annual pattern right around the California Mid State Fair, which kicks off on the 21st and goes through August 1st. 

  • Our new tasting room and winery in west Paso Robles is now open 7 days a week from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..  With a large covered veranda with tables and chairs, feel free to bring along a picnic lunch to enjoy while sipping some wine and listening to jazz while gazing over the pond.   You can also call ahead to make a reservation in our Club Room.  It can acommodate up to six people.
  • We are still open on Saturdays and Sundays at the Chateau Margene Estate Vineyard & Winery from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m..  We are working around the winery on Fridays, so call us to make an advanced reservation if you're coming to town early.   Our viewing deck and large grass area are also available to you if you would like to picnic and enjoy some wine.
  • Our Fall Wine Release Party will be held on Saturday, November 13th.  Margene will once again be working with Executive Chef David McWilliam (Gardens of Avila Restaurant at the Sycamore Mineral Springs) to pair appetizers with our wines.  
    • This event is for Wine Club Members and their guests. 
    • Cost is $25 per person (member or guest) 
    • The event will run from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Reservations must be made in advance.  No ticket sales the day of the event.    
    • Simply respond to this email with your request.  
    • Wine Club Members who have their wine shipped, can pick up their shipment the day of the event, if you let us know when you make your reservation.
  • Wine Club shipments are as follows:
    • Cellar Club: 2007 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and 2008 Cabernet Franc (still wait listed)
    • Cabernet Sauvignon Only:  2007 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 
    • Winemaker's Mixed Selection:  2007 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, 2009 Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir, 2007 Syrah
    • Pinot Noir Only:  2009 Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir
